Do we need to book an appointment to try on gowns and dresses?

Yes we do require consultations to be booked whether shopping for a wedding gown, moms dress, prom dress or even a tuxedo sizing. Saturdays book up quickly but through the week we can generally get you in the same day. Call ahead for availability 902-836-3700

What should I know about your store?

We ask everyone to remove their shoes to help keep the carpet and gowns clean. We recommend taking in slippers or socks for your comfort

How long do dresses typically take to come in when ordered?

Wedding gowns can take from to 5-7 months to arrive, bridesmaid dresses usually take 4.5 months. With alterations, you should be shopping at least 10-12 months prior to your wedding. This will allow plenty of time for the gown to arrive and your seamstress to complete alterations

Who should I take with me to my bridal appointment?

We recommend taking the people who you need to be with you when you say “yes” to your dress. Gowns are magical, and you never know when you will find the one! Nothing deflates a moment more than when a bride wants to say, “yes to her dress”, but a really important person was not at the appointment with her. We also have Wi-Fi for out of province guests

What are the prices of your regular gowns?

Gowns are $1400-$3000. The sweet spot of our gowns is $1700-$2300. Prom dresses range from $450-$975

What payment required when I order my gown or prom dress?

We require a 50% non-refundable payment at the time of order, the remaining balance is due three months from your order date

How many people can come with me to my consultation?

Our bridal suite accommodates 4 guests comfortably, but if you want some to invite more guests we can make that work. We want you to invite people who are special to you. Our smaller fitting rooms for (prom) can accommodate up to 2 people with you.

Do you sell dresses out of the collection?

Yes most of our gowns are available for immediate purchase

Do you charge for bridal appointments?

All of our regular bridal appointments are free. We do plan to announce special VIP appointment packages that there will be charges for

Can I take champange in with me during a consultation?

Yes!! This is a time to celebrate! We just ask it to be a clear colour. We also provide complimentary bottles of water, sparkling juice and snacks

How far in advance should we book tuxedo rentals?

During busy wedding/ prom season we recommend placing your tuxedo rental order at least 3 months in advance. $75.00 non-refundable payment is required to book your rental. Also if you are under 18 a parent must sign the rental contract

What is your return policy?

All sales are final, this includes all wedding gowns, moms, special occasion and prom dresses purchased off the rack or special ordered. All jewellery and accessories are also final sale
